Fatigue or dizziness is common in the first weeks of pregnancy. There are five primary reasons for it.
1) Low blood pressure. This happens when a woman is not getting enough blood builders or enough elctrolytes in her diet. Taking the blood pressure will help to determine if it is within the normal ranges.
2) Low blood sugar. Generally caused from not getting enough proteins or else too many carbs in the diet, or she has gone too long between meals and her body is in a 'fasting' state.
3) Low iron. Anemia is common and will generally present itself with a woman being lighter (more pale) than one would expect for her nationality. Along with the pale complexion, there will generally be fatigue, dizziness and slow thinking.
4) Lack of proper nutrition in the diet. She may be missing proteins, fruits or vegetables.
5) Not getting enough rest.
