We found Donna and her program and fell in love. After 3 miserable pregnancies we were looking for answers and solutions but we had one big problem, she lived a couple thousand miles away from us. Instead of moving to a new state we found a local midwife to do the regular check-ups and then signed up with Donna for her to be a consultant from afar. It was just what we needed! With her program and assistance we were able to be in control of this pregnancy and our own story.

Our local midwife came for check-ups and then afterwards we’d meet with Donna virtually. We’d give her the numbers and she’d walk us through tweaks and changes in diet/supplements, etc that could help me to feel even better and the baby to be even stronger and our delivery to be even safer. Scheduling was easy and Donna was very accommodating. Communication in between appointments was quick and she was always there when we needed her….including for the delivery! By the time I knew I was in labor there was no way my local midwife could make it in time and so we called Donna. She of course answered her phone and talked us through everything! The delivery was perfect and the baby came into the arms of her Daddy, safely guided by Donna! We weren’t scared to not have a midwife in the house. We knew Donna would take care of us and we weren’t wrong!

With my first two pregnancies there was always an issue. Whether it was acne, nausea, cramping, mood swings, extreme irritability, back pain, round ligament pain, stretch marks, excessive weight gain, bloating, water retention, swelling, headaches, ect... there was just never a time I wasn’t experiencing one or more unpleasant ailments.. My labors were both excruciatingly painful. Contractions were unbearable by the time I was at 5 cm so labors were difficult.


When we found out we were expecting our third baby, I decided to research my options in the area and found Donna. I remember feeling excited and slightly nervous... “Can I really do this?”, I thought to myself... “Can I really follow a diet?”, I didn’t know at the time, but the answer was a definite YES. I learned that I am strong enough, good enough, smart enough, and capable enough of taking control of my health--. All women are. A lot of us just don’t know it! My skin was clear, I had a “belly only” pregnancy. It was a breath of fresh air. I experienced virtually none of the unpleasant ailments that I had prior.


When I went into labor I was around 40 weeks along, I called my midwife to let her know what I was experiencing and I thought to be contractions, but I couldn’t tell because there was no pain! She came and confirmed they were indeed contractions. I labored throughout the night completely pain free- I was able to rest and sleep through a few hours of my labor. When I awoke, I decided to walk and do squats around my neighborhood to move things along. I was 8 & 1/2 cm dilated at this point! I was in complete amazement! She broke my water and shortly after this, my contractions intensified, and our beautiful surprise baby boy was born around 10 minutes later!
